Fascinatingly & infuriatingly unorthodox but, as so often, absolutely captivating. Strangely, there's a ghastly mis-reading at 3.38. I don't remember Cherkrackers doing that when i heard him "live"- but then, it was always different each time.

Wonderful performance. The cleanliness and clarity of the rapid passages are remarkable. He plays the second prelude with great sensitivity. Thanks for posting all of the Cherkassky performances.
