  • @bloodclaat1976 In Guitar World May 1992, Ty said he used an Alesis Midiverb, Ibanez Dual Delay and a DOD Analog Delay.

  • I have an L5, and at some point also had a Strat Elite. I still could not sound like Ty. His tone is in his hands. He could play through a little Pignose amp and make it sound like a million bucks.

  • His early tone is just wicked---in a good way, of course.

  • anybody know tys mesa dual rec settings for the SWEET SPOT ?

  • I have an L5. I can honestly say I've never been able to make it sound like Ty.

  • please log on to equip.org faith hope and ear candy cds are my favorites after mr.bulbus and tape head i lost my faith in kings x but the song pray and the xy cd is good

  • fuck me he is borin

  • I've always wondered if Ty used a sort of chorus or light flange on the "original" Lab-era tone? Or possibly double tracking? it sounds just ever so slighly chorused...anyone know for sure?

  • hmmm makes you think that Line6 needs to make modeling of ty tabors amp :)

  • Great interview. Great to see the Lava Cable Clear Connect cable in his Lab Series amp.
