I agree - this is one of the best, most heart-wrenching renditions of this song that I have ever heard. Brava to Anne Hathaway, her singing abilities, her acting abilities, and her serious dedication to the role (I mean really, the girl cut off her hair and lost 25 lbs for the role.)

MORE impressive? She was excellent in that film, yes, but they are completely different performances -- apples and oranges. Susan Boyle's "cover" was certainly impressive VOCALLY, but I'm really talking ACTING here. And Hathaway's performance of the song became heartrending howl of anguish from the depths of her soul. The same can NOT be said of Susan Boyle's interpretation.
