  • Actually, it is a pentatonic scale - similar to

    Do Re Mi * So Li * Do -- (skipping Fa and Ti). BUT then it is actually not exactly Do Re Mi -- the Do note (C) is exactly a C, but Re is 1.2 steps above Do in this equally tempered pentatonic scale (ie, going up 5 notes 5 * 1.2steps = 6 whole steps, which is the same as an octave.  -Mark
