kentucky basketball has become a tradition that is pounded in to every TRUE kentuckian at an early age. there is a sense of pride, honor, and greatfulness at being able to being a part of this state and this team. our big blue nation has seen its ups and its downs, but every year we stand tall and shout "we are the greatest history has to offer in the sports world." god bless our state and our team. cant wait until november! BLEED BLUE KENTUCKY AND KY FANS ALL OVER THE WORLD!! GO WILDCATS!!

Even though they weren't too great, I was so emotionally attached to this team. I have a basketball that the majority of them signed saved in a glass display case.

@GreenDay1981 I became a Yankee fan when i moved to Upstate NY...1) Because i was 10, and most 10 year olds root for the good teams. 2) Carolina didn't have a MLB team,and still does, but when i moved there, i had a team to root for. And other than that, all my teams are hometown.

@tehetahatoho So have a couple of the teams YOU root for. Don't talk like you root for all underdogs. You even admitted that you didn't become a Yankee fan until you moved to upstate NY 7 years ago. Hell, the year they really sucked (when K "conveniently" took a leave of absence), they were having attendance issues at Cameron, especially in the student section.
