Listening to your video makes me think perhaps I have PCOS? I had a few cysts when I was younger in my ovaries. I also have the dark pigmentation, acne, my weight is mainly carried in my lower abdomen/thighs. My biggest issue is the facial hair. I paid $900 for laser hair removal and my hair is 2-3x worse than it was...
I have been wanting the surgery since I was 14, but without support (or money) it's hard without either of those...

You make good videos. You keep talking without a lot of pauses to ponder or go uhm, and all of your comments are interesting or of substance. You are also very honest and forthright and dare to be vulnerable. This keeps me, as one viewer, impressed and engaged.

AMEN I too need that "system" in place to help me out. I have an active LS and I feel like I don't have time to be slow anymore. I also need a kickstart to help me deal with my addiction to food and to help me become aware when I am over doing it.
I am catching up on your vids and I no longer feel alone, THANKS for your honesty!
Wishing you MANY Blessings ; )

Thank you for the info on PCOS. I have that too and have also dealt with thinning hair, acne and hair growing along the chin and stuff. I had the VSG surgery on December 15, 2009. Right now I'm going through more hair thinning which is no fun. But I'm glad I had the surgery...down 78 lbs. so far. Thanks again!

Wow ... I always wondered if the unwanted hair I have was due to my huge weight gains.
Thanks for this helpful video
I have my surgery on August 31.
God bless

Okay, good to know...Something to be looking out for. I was told in April that my last fallopian tube (I had the right onw taken out last year because of an Ectopic Pregnancy) that it is blocked...So, I am not really doing surgery in hopes of getting pregnant...But, you know, there are many more reasons to do it as well. Thanks for being a friend!
I have PCOS as well. I am just starting my paperwork to get the Mini Gastric Bypass. I am infertil, have hair loss, facial hair, acne...Uhhh :) Are you still glad you had it?

Yes. At first my PCOS syptoms got worse -the brown marks on my skin from the insulin resistance, then some acne. But they both seem to be better now.
