I like this version better. I think she over-sang the version on the album. I'm a big fan of Keke (bought the album the day it came out too), but sometimes it feels like Keke's trying real hard to prove she can sing (rollercoaster runs, singing all over the track). I admit sometimes it makes me smile, but other times I'm just like okay, let's bring it down a bit, Keke. This version of Peace on Earth, IMO, should've made it on the album. Regardless, she's a star -- no doubt about it.

I love both version but to me the album version is better and more heartfelt and I believe every word out of her mouth and I dont think she was trying to hard to prove she can sing. This version was recorded in '04 or '05 when she was signed to Cash Money. She was just doing what she do....the album version was just recorded but you right she is a star!!

The difference between KeKe and Rachelle is that I can understand the words with KeKe.

So while I love the vocal stylings of Rachelle, I really love that I don't have to strain to understand the words with KeKe.

Certain artist...you'd be a fool to attempt to cover. When you ripped that old Patti classic, I knew then you were a natural born singer. You killed this cover as well. Your brother can go too. I agree,them c-notes are off the chain. The thing that killed her was when she left mca records after she was doing so well,and went to a series of rap labels who wouldnt promote her like she should (Cashmoney,TVT,Records). I really want that emotional rollercoaster album which was shelved and that tvt record which was not put out due to bankruptcy. I love the song," ghetto rose."

I feel you some singers do over sing with the riffs, runs and tricks and just destroy the melody and beauty of a song. But I have realized that some singers can't help it if it is a part of their style. Some times it just happens and to get them to sing straight is a huge challenge. Have you all heard Rachel Farrel's Version, you know her vocal acrobats are sick. She goes in. But I love Keke's versions.
