Me too! It's taken me about a month to watch 4 5 and 6, and now I'm watching the first 3.
They're good but episode 1 is soooo hard to get through. You'll see what I mean. :)

@MiddleOfMadness Yep I am -5:00 Hours because I am Central Time -1 hour behind Eastern lol

@iloveiberia I didn't have time to fall asleep during Star Wars... I was too occupied with trying to fix my Mac from freezing during the film! :P

@epiphaknee I've got some 'Sinutab' tablets from when I last had Sinusitis that really did help, but so far I've been taking Flu Plus tablets to combat the stuffy nose, bad throat, bad head, dizziness combo I've had at work. Feeling a little better after a day off though :)

@Parmesana From what I've seen, we don't have root beer. I've always wondered what the hell it is. You've kinda explained it, but I've still no idea who or what "Sasparilla" is! :P
-
@noJungleKiss So you're a Fizzy Vimto kinda guy...? :D (I only say that 'cause I'm drinking one now!).

@HowToDs I get dirty looks whenever I say I've not seen them (see Dapperdan's comment on this vlog for evidence of such!) but I'm getting around to it. I just need to be in the 'mood' to watch a Movie. Sometimes they're over too quickly for me. I'll definitely have them all done before December, I swear! :P
never see-NEVER SEEN STAR WARS!?!? Jez, you're a good guy and all, but you just lost some cool points with me for that confession. ;-P Just kidding, although I do wonder if these films have lost their significance in larger society because of the crapfest that is the newer films. The original three were watched by every man, woman and child in my day. Better watch the other two as well, because Family Guy spoofed all three. Blue Harvest is the best, though.

@dapperdan29 Don't worry, I think I'm already in negative numbers for the amount of cult classic movies I haven't yet seen (or have no intention of seeing for one reason or another). Same with some TV shows, too.
Aye, I've got all three Family Guy spoofs, but by the time I get around to watching them, I'll have watched the relevant Star Wars movies. I don't think they've lost significance, it's just like @maddiepost1 said; effects in newer movies may put kids off seeing the older movies.

Good to see ya Jez! I've seen all of the Star Wars movies...it's was revolutionary then....but...probably anti-climatic for someone your age with all the technology of movies today! Fanta is here...honestly I'm a fan of Sunkist! Do you have that one? I've never noticed Tango. My version of what you describe is Minute Maid and Sunkist and I prefer Sunkist! Feel better!!

@maddiepost1 I know what you mean. There's black-and-white horror movies that I've seen clips of (like, '50 Greatest Horror Flicks' kinda things) that really aren't scary because the 'monster' in them is literally a guy wearing a plastic bag and rubber hands or something ridiculous. I guess it goes with the times. We become accustomed to certain things in our movies & TV shows. Mainly, it's the audio that gets me. Lulls in the sound then a sharp BOOM get me.
Had Sunkist many years ago - it's OK
