A short section of a talk given by Andrew Tanenbaum (Father of Minix) given at FOSDEM 2010 (http://fosdem.org/2010/interview/andrew-tanenbaum). The talk was about Minix 3, entitled "MINIX 3: a Modular, Self-Healing POSIX-compatible Operating System".

Incidentally, Tanenbaum is a fantastic lecturer who did an excellent job of keeping the audience engaged, informed, and amused.

Apologies for the shakiness and short length; I was hand-holding the Canon EOS 7D with Canon 100-400L lens - it's heavy and poorly balanced! Next time, I will not forget my tripod...

  • Good programmer, friendly guy, only if we could clone him to make the Minix dev team bigger. :)
