The aftermath of Irene has completely cut off 13 towns in Vermont, leaving them without water and no way to escape. But, as Wyatt Andrews reports, as impressive as the damage is, the response by Vermonters was more impressive.
@MaryWaterton, This was not the act of an angry god. This was a natural event that occurs every so often. Vermont was fortunate in that the death toll was so small. Living here and knowing how quick the rivers here can rise it is really surprising that we did not have more deaths. God actually watched over the people of Vermont and kept us safe. We lost material things, and have been inconvenienced, but we will recover. WE ALWAYS DO!
Wow! This is nuts! My thoughts are with everyone there! I lived in this area for 5 years and this just tears at me! Vermont is such a great place. The man at the end had it right too. When you live amongst nature, you will get to see the absolute and awesome power that it can unleash. I understand the engineer moving the river. Through this flood, especially, the river has changed IT's course. He's just going to help it maintain it.
@MaryWaterton It saddens me how much deep in bullshit your in, there's no turning back for you.

@QHIZ - No, thankfully I don't live in a state that marries sodomites.
I don't hate you, but God does:
God judges the righteous, and God is angry with the WICKED every day. (Psalm 7:11)
Wicked ... that includes proud homosexuals who won't repent and heterosexuals who endorse that filth as good, wholesome and normal.

This is the wrath of God against Vermont for its legalization of homosexual marriage. Expect more and worse.
