Elle explique pourquoi cette œuvre est un jalon essentiel dans l'évolution de la trompette. On la découvre aussi dans le concerto d'Aroutounian, qui confirme qu'un large répertoire pour la trompette soliste existe et que la jeune soliste anglaise, qui était venue étudier à Paris, a l'intention de parcourir.

Alison has a similar fluidity as Tine Thing's but with a bit more strident British timbre. I like both of these women styles very much, so unique.

She is talking bullshit to say that to the ear of the time a full chromatic scale would have been a shock/surprise to hear: there was the Cornetto instrument that surpasses the trompette by striking beauty of sound and has full chromatic scale.
