The other day I found our table umbrella lying closed up in the back yard, and thinking of this scene, I tried lifting it just for grins. It was far heavier than I imagined; to successfully wield it, you'd have to be seriously buff.
I will never scorn the notion of using a beach umbrella as a weapon again. XD
