Good points. It's not right to take money from people who can afford it. I used to think it was but I've come around to understanding that it is immoral to steal from people even if they can afford it.

If you steal from someone, their being rich or poor doesn't matter; theft is theft.

Rich people are incredibly important and leeching off them hurts the economy as they - directly and indirectly - provide jobs for the working and lower class. Don't give them subsidies, don't tax them less, just leave them alone.

In the long run, gov intervention doesn't work. The only way you can increase GDP long term is by increasing the supply of the factors of production or productivity. That's IT.

sure I'm with you on that, both parties support corporate intrests and differences are cosmetical. My point was only that theres no reason to sympathize with rich.

he might have said the rich will take care of themselves but did he really prove that when he bailed out Wall street, the banks, and the car companies who were already rich to begin with! Democrats in power are just as bad as Neo-cons in power

You do know that people on welfare don't get $120k a year, right? This is simple (though I see this video has 9 parts). Taxation is theft. Welfare damages the recipients more than anyone. Fiat currency is not wealth. The sys is broken beyond repair. That puts it on par, historically, with every other state that ever existed. You call yrsf a capitalist. I won't assume I know how you define the term. But this is the logical end of the system that you support, whether or not it is the end you want.

Part about rich men suffering was weak. Very weak. If you can't afford 4th car it's not suffering, and this state can't share the same name with dying from starvation.

If you want to make a compelling argument do it from middle class prespective or poor. In this instance Obama was right you shouldn't care about rich people they will take care of themselves.

change we need? yup thats what i heard from obamas campaign for 1 1/2 frickin years up to the elect. now hes spending money just like the rest of them did. he has more pork in the stimulus package than i have seen in a long time. i personally dont think it would've mattered who won the election. we still would have been screwed but obama was talking shit for 1 1/2 years and now his bitch ass can't back it up. typical career politician.

The deficit was 3 trillion when he took office. Now, he's already spent over 1.2 trillion in one month and nothing to show for it. For the life of me, I can't understand why people still support him.
