  • Did you notice how skillfully avoided the question about heat dispersion? Magnesium needs 1.023 Joule of energy for every gram of mass to increase the temperature by 1 degree Celsium/Kelvin. This means that it takes longer to heat up, but after that it stays warmer for longer.

    So in longer periods of work, it will have heat problems

  • I'm not sure if that was a skillful dodge, or just that he didn't know the answer - but I didn't get my question answered as to what sorts of compromises (if any) are made when moving from plastic to magnesium alloy. Thanks for posting what is easily the most intelligent YouTube comment I've seen in months. :-)
