Well said Paul, Couldn't have said it better myself. This Christmas just past my store owners agreed with me and we said merry christmas to our customers, helps the owners are Christian but still, we did our part to bring back CHRISTMAS

what does that have to do with my point? 1st, yes I agree Christmas should be celebrated as Christmas and not a 'holiday' but if you're going to demand that it comes back at least practice what you fucking preach. Christmas was orginally a pagen holiday. The story we are all told about Christmas is not the real story .. the story of Thanksgiving isn't true either. They actually did documentaries about these two holidays on NATGEO I believe. I am an atheist and I celebrate these days but for different more simple ways .... and I do it for the kids too.

I do not celebrate "Diwali", or "Kwanza" or any other foreign "celebration".

If any moron gets "offended" by me celebrating Christmas they all can go and FUCK themselves !!

I am from Europe, (Spain) and very proud of who I am. I do respect other peoples right to celebrate whatever they want to celebrate, but please; DO NOT TRY to make me ashamed of what I do believe.

I live in Canada, and I've learned to love and respect this great and beautiful country.

what is the spirit of christmas?

it's for the children, if you're from a place without snow, you won't understand.

imagine being stuck indoors hiding from the cold, and humans being the animals they are, children would be suseptibal to snapping with cabin fever. christmas brings the value so brothers and sisters don't kill eachother.. this is why there's a celebration. if it wasn't for this, then christmas wouldn't be celibrated the way it is, it would be like good friday, for church only

atleast christians and christmas keep their celebrations to sunday.. how many christians do you see getting an extra 45 minutes of pay while they pray in the locker room. i see lots of islamist praying to allah for 45 minutes every day in the work place. i personally don't care whatpeople believe, but i see him and wonder, how many other companies lose money because of this.
