  • Which gear do you use when you are picking? 2nd? 3rd?

  • 1st.  Can go in 2nd only in poor corn if you want it husked at all. This corn was past the 200 bushel/acre mark.

  • @120hotty beneath the snouts of the corn picker are two snapping rollers which pull the stalk down. The ears are jerked off as the corn stalk goes down (quite rapidly) and then are conveyed to the elevator which drops them into the wagon behind
