Slap Bass Electro Funk - Training Hard by Apell

Live performance from the Reconstituted CD launch at the Blue Tile Lounge, Melbourne, Australia.

This electro funk music features a groovy synth bass mixed with a couple of funky slap bass riffs which are then topped of with a layer of noodling electro synths.

The music has two main parts one which sets the scene and a breakdown to funky slap bass interlude that then leads to the video game music moment of the duelling synth lines which wouldn't be out of place in a slightly cheesy Mario Brothers type of racing video game.

The title "Training Hard" comes from the Rocky soundtrack feel at the start of the electro funk music that would well in a film sports / training montage after all even Rocky had a montage! to quote the Team America soundtrack.

that's cool! I think more bassists should incorporate dance electro tunes with their bass...let's be real, bass is the heart of every tune :)
