Ah ha! This is true as well as false.
The increase in pictures is both good and bad. Depending on the frame-rate, more pictures can mean slow-motion. In this case, I think what he needs is to "Blur" every second or third picture (and only of the object moving). It's not nessecary to lots of pictures so much as it is to use the RIGHT techniuqes. Blurring an object is accomplished by taking a picture of the object in REAL TIME motion and capturing the blur effect.

Try making an animation with a flip it works, but sucks.

@mynameiswerdna this might piss you off but the trick to is to take as many pics as possible of even the simplests movements..
it took me 100 pics of nothing but a leg transforming on optimus to get a SOME WHAT smooth transaction...yeah...it take patience...which i really dont haave....uuuuurrrgghhh...
