  • @TheDefJamfan

what the hell happened to JR anyway? I miss him :(

  • 7:15 Lumber Jack Match my ass! Good O'l JR

  • That one handed chokeslam on Triple H was amazing

  • Kane should've gotten a title run back then.

  • Kane has had more returns than anyone in history... yes, even Jericho.

  • those were some good chokeslams!

  • @XxRaz0rBlad3xX - Yeah, it's a generational gap, for sure. A lot of us who were introduced to Pro Wrestling via family got to see it first hand. It's the same with most forms of entertainment. My grandmother is convinced that football players were stronger and tougher in the 60s and 70s.

I talked to one of my younger cousins about MMA, talking about the guys I saw when I was a kid, and from the other room, my dad shouts, "AND THAT WAS WHEN IT WAS GOOD!" So, yeah... =|

  • @Kannebas I understand his point. But for us younger fans during the Attitude Era, we would have been bored out of our minds without the stuff DX, the APA, 'Taker, Kane, Austin and The Rock, as well as many others, have done to entertain us. All of it was new to us and it got us pumped up and excited to see what kind of craziness we'd see next week. Those were some good times in the Attitude Era that I miss everyday.

  • @XxRaz0rBlad3xX - A lot of the older fans during the Attitude Era hated the product. I remember when my dad saw DX come out with flesh colored SuperSoakers, held them between their legs, and sprayed the audience, he couldn't believe that's what "passed for professional wrestling".

That generation was all about Ric Flair, Harley Race, Terry Funk, Dusty Rhodes, Freebirds, etc. As far as him and most of his peers are concerned, that was professional wrestling at its best.

  • @Cooldown12 I know, it sucks. It's not what I remembered it to be. It got too soft, which is why I stopped watching it. Facebook keeps me updated with everything in the WWE now. Such a bummer.
