1100 Springs are an amazing alternative country rock band from Dallas, Texas. This is an actual sequence from the film. Also features insight from Dallas radio DJ and writer George Gimarc.

  • "Alt" country was meant to be a compliment. When a country radio station in Nashville or Bakersfield puts one of their songs in heavy rotation let me know and I'll remove the "alt".

  • Good tune, I need sum Buddy mags Bill, I'll trade you a carton of cigs...

  • the band members of 1100 springs are not only good muscians but are also some of the coolest and nicest dudes youll ever meet for my money they are the best country band anywhere.

  • HAHA that was funny....is there a COUNTRY station in Nashville or Bakersfield?

Texas has pretty much made thier own. 95.3 the Range..thier song (Hank couldnt make it in Nashville today) sums it up best. I do believe we got tired of the pop culture that has taken over the so called mainstream country music industry.

  • AWSOME! Matt the Cat and Chris Claridy. I would give anything to see you guys play one more time.

  • if u live near dallas plano greenville commerce area 95.3 fm plays hank III, wayne the train hancock, junior brown, brian burns, 1100 springs, and they make fun of nashville, tim mcgraw, and all those posers are constantly made fun of, u should check out the station

  • who gives a rats ass about trashville. there is no such thing as real country radio any more, they won't play Hank III, The Lonesome Spurs, Those poor bastards and the KIng of country western Unkown Hinson

  • Cool sound there! Just guessing Bill smokes Pall Mall, filters though.

  • screw nashville
