I think that monkey is a macaque & man they are fierce, fast & not to be fucked with, no matter how cute they may look when they're just hanging out. I love the way he stays just out of range & waits for his opening & that one move where he moves in & bites the back of the snake's head...awesome! Not something I would do to two animals but since it's already done, we can learn from & marvel at how animals defend themselves, which has been the source of many MA styles and movements over time...

indeed this is not at all proposturous because a mongoose can kill a serpant and they have done a very god job of iradicating snakes in jamaica using mongooses, so it is not a lie when you see in chinese movies of snake exponent beaten by simian pugilistic arts. also check out monket king they show a real eagle and monkey fight!!!

yes it is cruel, but unfortunately it's vitally relevant to the film - synopsis - the guy in the vid (the hero) is a drunken style exponent befriended by a monkey style kung fu expert, who in turn is defeated by 2 snake style exponents and they almost kill the hero. The hero doesn't know how to defeat the snake style as they are so good - until he sees this fight! he then combines drunken monkey to get revenge. The way this is cut from the movie really takes something out of the film.
