Marc Bolan woke England up with his music at a time when rock was becoming jurassic. Fact is Bowie idolized him in his own way, and if imitation is the highest form of flattery Mr. Jones certainly paid him such.

Marc, for all the love he continues to get, is highly underrated for all he's done for rock and roll.

It's sad cause alot of artists, especially Marc, were all about the 'kids'..

You can thank Michael Jackson for that social change.. Now if your famous and your seen or get photographed with a kid that is either not yours or dying of cancer, all of a sudden every 'news'paper and tabloid fame-sucking, star-fucking tv shows headline story says your a pedophile or a creep..

Many people don't know about Marc's two or three "lost years". The burdens of fame became too much and he went into hiding. His pudgy, twin sister began appearing, publicly, in his place. This interview is with Marc's sister, Marcia, impersonating Marc. It appears that both the audience and the interviewer were completely fooled.

You wrote two years ago "not many rock stars of his caliber would be so polite and kind to a nerdy kid's tv show host. much less even show up at all" Some close friends said in interviews that MB had a nasty dark other side you do not want to meet. With other words...how people appear on tv or in public doesn't say how they are in real. No matter how kind and lovely (and nasty)someone appears to be, one should be carefull with a judgement..But I agree he is very polite and kind
