Tough chapter... the fighters pack way too much HP and you've got 6 coming at ya. It's possible to kill them all without letting a unit die but I screwed up and Draug died a bit early, normally I'd let the boss kill him but oh well, hardly makes a difference. You may notice during each part that I'm loading a suspend save or map point save, that's because Hypercam is screwing up so I suspend the game and try recording again later so I have little control of how these videos end up (the first part was close to 12 minutes so I had it split it in half).
Yeah. not having a general or paladin, high defence doesn't come around very often. I did manage to arena-train ABEL-sniper early on, so he has 50 HP, insane avoid, decent defence, and 29 speed, so I use him. Also, he is my highest level, at 20-14, so...yeah

Use a high DEF unit to lure the reinforcements to you and then assault them in groups.

The earlygame is the hardest thing in H5. No surprise there.

I just used my horde of stat-up items across the fighters of my team. now cord-hunter has enough HP, Barst-warrior has enough speed to double the wyverns with a bow, Lena has more magic, barst has more skill, nabarl has more defence and attack (and one of the spheres so he uses mercurius) and now, I also crakced out some of the stronger bows in my supply. Hopefully, that will be enough

maybe. I still have a lot of dud units to sacrifice.
Is it just me, or was the first chapter of H5 insane. It took me hours to get up to the boss, and forever to beat him

I had less. You have enough.

easier said than done. I only have 11 people in my team. they are uber, but I am lacking 1 or 2.
Oh yeah, and 3 of them are healers:
Lena
Jagen - I used him initially as a healer so I could win, but he was useful
Minerva - same story as Jagen

C22 eh? Just sit back and fight the reinforcements and incoming enemies.

My god H5 mode is crazy.
I'm up to chapter 22 now. I know that I could do it easy with the warp staff, but I need experience, so I wanna rout the enemy.
Any suggestions. NOTE: I do not have Beck, I do have a level 14 Abel-sniper who is uber

My strategy. Use the warp staff to move Jagen or another speedy/durable unit to the northwest corner, just a few clicks east of the armory. The group of fighters on your left flank will change direction and follow Jagen, who you should direct counterclockwise towards your forces. By the time Jagen arrives you should have terminated the 1st infantry squad and be fresh for the 2nd Jagen leads to your ambush. Intended by developers or not, I feel it is not cheating.
