GH2 ISO 12800 Hack in Color

ISO 12,800 with Sigma 20mm, f1.8 Lens. Very clean image!

Hack Details from MPGXSVCD on Personal-View.com:

Highest Quality No adverse affects. Works 100% with any memory card including class 4 and class 6 cards.

AVC-HD High settings. 42 mb/sec 1080p AQ = 4 and 32
mb/sec 720p AQ = 2. Gop default. No other AVC-HD
changes.

AVC-HD Low settings. 32 mb/sec 1080p AQ = 4 and 24
mb/sec 720p AQ = 2. Gop default. No other AVC-HD
changes.

MJPEG 720p = 1280x720 highest bit rates with no write errors.

MJPEG 480p = 1280x960 highest bit rates with no write errors.

All settings are 100% stable with all memory cards.

Edit(10-19-2011): I had to decrease the bit rate of the 720p @ 60 FPS settings because it failed during a test with all auto settings and the new Olympus 45mm F1.8 lens. Changing the bit rate from 34 mb/sec to 32 mb/sec corrected the issue for even the slowest memory cards. The 1080p bit rate was left unchanged.

I have modified the "No adverse affects" settings to use 42 mb/sec for the high setting and 32 mb/sec for the Low setting for 1080p. These setting will have no write errors for any card. In addition the 1080p Low, 720p High, and 720p Low settings will all span.
