The Grimsby Atonement Boys

This is a slideshow, with music from Vera Lynn, of the Grimsby Atonement Boys.

We were extras for the movie Atonement, directed by Joe Wright and due for release in December.

I have made this because all the videos from the movie are all of the set in Redcar, hardly any of the set in Grimsby. I can't find the pictures of the set but I have the pictures of soldiers. I'm in there as well. Yes, I am one of The Grimsby Atonement Boys. I myself an in the trailer for the film but didn't want to add the pictures in case I get prosecuted for coryright laws.

If you are one of the Extras from the film, either from Grimsby, Redcar, etc. Get in touch or make one of these slideshows yourself, it would be interesting to see.

awesome film. very profound.

Perhaps that was the allusion that war is an attonement for having taken the wrong action, in the same way that a deeply damaged life can arise from a simple misjudgement.

anyhow......waxing philosophic - either way the film was great.
