Poised, articulate, and a message to reach out and give hope to people who are in tough times. That's what I call a role model- something fare more important than simply winning a pageant, but rather playing it forward to other young people who need to hear Dakota's words and her message of hope. Pride is the first word that comes to mind after hearing hearing her words of inspiration. She has my vote!

Back in the 1980's, I was a TV anchorman in Myrtle Beach at Ch. 43. I hired and trained Martha Hunn, later went on to anchor at WBTW TV13 and Fox. I hired and trained Nikki Bulman (Nicole Casey) anchors at WBTW.
