I know this song is about Fathers, but I beleive it can be related to mothers, grandparents, anyone who has cared for you and is now gone. This song makes me think of my mom. She recently moved in with her boyfriend in another town and I barley see her anymore. She was the one whom I always went to when I was down. Now it's like she's gone. My dad and I have never gotten along, I can't trust him with anything. I miss my mom more than anything. The last verse makes me cry everytime...
