  • You're probably one of the best music teachers on You Tube!

  • @detroitbuffalo thanks dude, glad you dig!

  • Ah, I know of these as secondary dominants :-) nice lesson

  • @shredicon86 Groovy! Glad you dig. Secondary and Tritone Subs are closely related. D-7 G7 CMaj7. A7 is secondary dominant to D-7, Eb7 is Tritone sub for A7. Tricky but beautiful stuff. Jazz on, and be well! Thanks for checking me out!

  • That was the best substitution lesson I've had yet

  • @Xmalibur thanks! Glad you dig. Please feel free to send any questions to GP magazine :) Cheers!

  • svaka cast za video :))))))))))))))))))

  • nice video bro!

  • Question - Ok so usually when you do a tri-tone substitution on like G7 for example it becomes Db-7 (ish) ..but can it be a C#-7 instead of Db-7? I know it makes more sense for it to be Db-7 since the chord progressing your showing is going down half a step. But I mean would it be consider correct if I would of put the progression like this? Dmin7 - C#7 - Cmaj7

  • 1:43 - lol the horn outside fits nicely into the CM7

  • looks like good on theory, but you just talk about some triads and no melody, what about if you better explain how to harmonized a melody.

  • great

  • @jakehertzog Awesome, thanks for clarifying :-)
