It is a popular belief that we are at war with the Middle East in order to simply "get more oil", but the truth underneath is much more complex. This is about maintaining the dominance of the US Dollar while the threat of the Euro's ability to replace it as the World's Reserve Currency grows more real each day. The U.S. isn't ready to give up their role as "The Master", but maybe it's time we figured out a better tactic...not to mention better priorities.
