NZ band that began life as the Scavengers but changed their name after moving to Melbourne, Australia in '79. I realise that their guitarist Johnny Volume has already uploaded this clip but this is better quality.
@AussieNusa Glad to hear from you and hear your story and your thoughts.. Nice that someone else remembers the early days of punk. I was in Sydney at the time and I agree that the first punk scene was different then and way better than what it became. It wasn't all mohawks and Doc Martens then - the kids were just there to have a good time.
THANX!!! WOW i havent seen this clip in years, this was the second band i ever saw. they where great live!!! I have the single to!!! its with the ZCars single & X lps.
I saw them at either the Seaview or the crystal ballroom in St Kilda back in 79 i think, I think. It was a small pub, lots of people, the punk seen was great then! no trendies or phonies! Sorry for the rambling!
