How do you know they don't ? There are many, many who live there and have very nice homes, which a few of the photos indicate. It is the perfect place to hide out from anyone.

SAUNDERSacts2618, we don't know for certain who built them. They could have existed for 60 million years. But the paintings inside the cave are clearly Christian, and this proves the resilience of the early Christians who at the very least refurbished and strengthened the structures to make them durable over 2000 years later, just as the Word of Christ.remains against all odds.

We were taught at school in the 60's that the early Christians went underground, but I had no idea that they had built such amazing houses, it is wonderful!
