What sucks more than California's laws on the well being of children is the fact there's not many good writers for female leads/co-stars. Ariel reminded me of a young Anne Hathaway. A serious double threat and a great actress/voice over actress who was born with talent. Now she reminds me of Drew Barrymore when she was 12. Going crazy in La La Land and destroying her career, which could have been epic. Disney has spent a fortune keeping this quite for over a year now.

She wasn't even in high school and he could easily have been a sophomore in COLLEGE!!!!! Her mom is trying to PROTECT her from all the pitfalls (For Ariel it's men. Before this guy there was an older guy.) of Hollywood. Then Ariel and her boyfriend 19 year old bf were caught naked in Ariel's bed by here mom. Ariel get's mad she can't have sex at 14 with a 19 year old and moves in with her party girl sister she hasn't even talked to in over five years or more so she has complete freedom.

honestly 4 year difference for a relationship is not so drastic, ariel is clearly sexually developed and the guy is not some middle aged creep, he's just a teen himself. Stop with the pedo paranoia folks.

Okay I have a theory about this situation.

Ariiel's "sister" Shanelle Workman is 34.  That is 20 years older than Ariel. I think she is her mother and the people she was living with were her grandparents so they could have control over her money.

Ariel found out the deep dark family secret and confronted her grandmother about it and her grandmother because abusive. So now she is living with her mother.

You don't know what your talking about, when I was 19 I liked a girl who was 15, and her mother would'nt let me see her so she wound up with a guy her age who raped and impregated her.
