game boy : castlevania adventure, Castlevania adventure 2 , castlevania legends (total 3)

Game boy advance : Circle of the moon, Harmony of dissonance, Aria of sorrow (total 3)

DS : Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin, Order Of ecclesia (total 3)

Nintendo 3DS = next castlevania game ?

Akumajo Densetsu: the first one, and it is nearly 2nd to best version of this song and better than the american version.

Castlevania 3: inferior to the original but still a pretty cool.

Order of Ecclesia: my least favorite version mainly due to how it sounds like one of the PS2 Castlevania games, but still is an awesome Castlevania song.

Adventure Rebirth: OMG SO AWESOME!!!! THE BEST CASTLEVANIA SONG AND THE BEST VERSION OF THIS SONG!!!!! IT PWNS SO F***ING MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Every one of these collections I listen to, it's all good and I love the music and then ReBirth comes along and SHITS on me. I don't know what it is but every song that's in that game is not as good as other versions of itself.

It's beyond me how anybody prefers the NES version of CV3 after hearing the Famicom version with the VRC6 channels. That's like saying you prefer to hear Beethoven's Ninth played on the demo of a Casio keyboard at the mall. There's just no comparison. What's better about having a bastardized version of a tune? Having said that, I can appreciate the more minimalist sound of the NES versions, but you're only hearing half of the music.
