The Eye

This is a "toy" made by the Hatch team from Carnegie Mellon University's Entertainment Technology Center (etc.cmu.edu), a graduate program in interactive entertainment, in a partnership with Global Imagination (globalimagination.com).

Global Imagination makes the Magic Planet, a device that projects an image onto a sphere. Our team has used it to display a giant flaming eye that, with the help of a camera, follows the movements of people around it.

It's a perfect accent for any room in which you want people to believe they are being watched by some kind of evil wizard emperor.
