One big baby. Why the hell would a woman be in the delivery room taking pictures as the baby crowns???!!!! Who'd would do that?
-
CONGRATS!!!!! The baby looks cute

This doctor did an AWESOME job, and thank God she went to the hospital instead of stayed at home with the midwife. Midwives like to think they know it all. Have they been to medical school for 10 years? No.

Whoo-Haaa

This doc has her own show, yet she doesn't even know the proper birthing position for the mother, just for the perfect view for her.
I agree with the other comments as well.

wow. OB= clueless. you get up to 3cm more room in your pelvis in practically ANY position other than on your back....
-
Um.... lying on your back shrinks your pelvis by about 3cm. It absolutely does not open your pelvis. That Dr needs to go watch some midwife assisted home births.
-
@EmpressButterfly1 She could have done it herself, if she would have NOT listened to the doctor and got on her back, the baby would have fallen into her hands or the fathers.
-
@a1edable I was in SHOCK also! it does NOT open on your back...

@venomousstrawberry Standing is better, dont forget gravity! Laying back does NOTHING!
@aradiapaganus The OB continues, "That is what opens your pelvis the most." No. It doesn't. In fact it does the exact opposite... but itmakes the view easier for the OB. Sitting on your tailbone, or laying on your back causes contractions to be much worse as the wieght of the baby is on your sacrum and tailbone. You have to work against gravity and force the baby up and over your perineum-- which is tighten by having your legs pulled back (much more likely to tear).

I feel so bad for this lady. The doctor definitely lied about laying on her back. I think anyone knows that squatting is one of the best positions (just not for the doctor).
