Went out today with Joe and his wife to do a little bottom fishing. We were being silly and decided to put it on you tube so Joe looks like less of a man since his wife had to catch all the fish. Sorry Joe.

  • Nice ling. What kinda baits/lures do you use? I usually use yellow or root beer colored jigs with a big jighead. I usually get Cabezons and Lingcod with those, and for rockfish I usually use multi-colored small jigs (yellow+and white, red+white).

  • hello there, we usually fish with white berkely power grubs or bucktail jigs. we were out goofing around and not trying for anything really of size. i usualy spearfish for them in season and take a few in the 20 to 30lb range.

  • @dbschildt they closed all fishing for rockfish in puget sound this year :\

  • @frewcc

Yep, I don't fish for 'em much anyway. Not much meat and the grow slow. Give me a nice ling any day.
