I can't imagine how much you suffer!. There are only a couple studies en english (most are in chinese); but the most recent shows that even if you don't recover completely after an spinal cord injury you can walk: UCLA researchers have discovered that a combination of drugs, electrical stimulation and regular exercise can enable paralyzed rats to walk and even run while supporting their full weight on a treadmill. Published Sept. 20 in the online edition of the journal Nature Neuroscience.
