Video against BSL, isn't destroying something because of it's breed a type of prejudice?

Thank you so much for your comments I just had my dog Mya taken away because she is a pit...and a white puppy was taken from me as well...I loved her to death and now she is dead because of what breed she is. =( I had made this video in hop that BSL would never spread. But It happened and now in Texas any pit that is seen is supposed to be shot on site. whether it is a baby or not.

@BelleHaine I am so very sorry for your loss... I just can't imagine someone taking my dog (family member) due to it's breed?? I've never had a pit bull, but I'm really confused about the BSL... I don't understand how anyone can blame a breed of dog that isn't any different than any other breed... & not blame the horrible, sick & inhumane "humans" that cause these poor dogs to get such a bad rap??

i have a cousin who is actually a police afficer who had a pit bull named kally and somebody came to his yard when the dog was out and ran her over he even had a two year old and a little baby who are devestated now.i dont get it but apparently they are changing it around a little according to the paper we got

your video made me cry like a baby... i am so sorry you had to lose you babies... i have a 5 yr old bluenose and now a little 10 week old bluenose. i am in british columbia canada and we are slowly getting more and more restrictions on bully breeds... I dont know what I would do if someone ever came and told me they were going to kill or even just take away my dogs. that is ripping a part of your family away from you

I'm sorry to hear about your dogs, people are so ignorant. I have a 6 month old PitBull puppy, he is the best, good luck trying to take him from me is all i can say.
