I don't get these people who are constantly trashing Mike Love. What's his crime? Being gregarious, outspoken, emotive, exuberant? So kill half the human race for the same crime then. I think some folks can't think for themselves. They hear other people beefing on something and the best they can do is crawl on the same bandwagon.

and for all of Mike's crassness , he makes a TREMENDOUS point about the guys doing drugs and the guys who didnt. that point gets hammered home when one tries to get sober and there are people around you who arent . not a big deal , until one becomes as big a deal as the Beach Boys.

as fair and as objective as i can put it........there's some junk that one could really dislike Mike Love for. I would rather celebrate Brian Wilson's genius, and that for the most part , the co operation of the boys to put that music to the world.
