LOTR: Eomer/Adela - Fanfiction Trailer

ZOMG! I've literally been sitting here for 7 hours trying to finish this in time to enter it into CIAImpala's Original Character Contest. I had planned on doing a bunch of vids this weekend, except I ended up having to work most of it. Sooo there went that idea. But I managed to get this one done, which is a miracle.

This is for round one, which is to make a trailer for an OC. I obviously chose a LOTR OC, which may some day get put in to fanfic.

I actually quite like how this one turned out. Of course it's loosely based on a fanfiction in my head. Don't count on it ever getting done, but you can expect more videos.

Basically, Eomer and Adela meet in Aldburg while he is a lowly soldier. They fall in love, but as he moves higher into the ranks, their relationship becomes more of a concern. Grima tries to use it to manipulate Eomer into doing something reckless so that he can get rid of him and leave the king unguarded. When Theodred is killed and Eomer becomes heir to the throne, Adela realizes she is not what Rohan needs in a queen and tries to break it off, but Eomer doesn't care about that sort of thing and wants to marry her. In the end of the trailer, he is going off to fight in the War of the Ring and she is left to wonder if they will ever meet again.

Voiceovers are from BBC's Merlin and Pillars of the Earth.

Clips are from Pillars of the Earth, Lord of the Rings 2&3, and Pathfinder.

Song is "Get Up, Get Up" by Barcelona. They're a great "traileresque music" band, if you're ever looking for that.

I'd love to write it too! Had a large portion of the plot and backstory planned out, can see it all in my head. But I have the attention span of a potato, so I can't sit still long enough to actually write anything down. It's frustrating to never write, but I enjoy the planning and outlining more than the actual writing anyways.

It's not supposed to be the character from Pillars. It's fanfiction, an original character. Said character just happens to be portrayed by the lady from Pillars. But my character is a blacksmith's daughter.

um she wasn't a blacksmith's daughter, she was a daughter of a nobleman, that married the adopted son of blacksmith. still a good little video

Damn awesome, normally voices in it turn me off, not this one! I loved it! :) This would definitely be a great fanfic, if you don't ever get the chance, let me know, I love Eomer and I write fanfic, cause I would love to see this made into a fanfic :)
