Some of Australia's best musical talent visited Houston, Texas this past weekend as part of the "G'Day USA Australia Week" celebrations to commemorate Australia Day and the arrival of British settlers to the continent in 1788.

The festivities began with Australian gardener/TV personality Jamie Durie kicking off the evening's emcee duties. The Qantas Choir, comprised of the best of the best in Australia's Girls and Boys choirs, sang a heartfelt "I Still Call Australia Home" before providing backing vocals to Australia's Got Talent winner Jack Vidgen. Australian Idol winner and X-Factor Australia judge Guy Sebastian concluded the evening's events.

BackstageOL got a chance to talk to X-Factor Australia judge Guy Sebastian at the gala.
