One of my many questions about the changes in Watchtower doctrine

Thats why the JWhitneses have the truth and unlike other religions reject false teachings like the cross, trinity, hell and so on... While the false religions stick to these false teachings invented by the catholic church they stepped away from it.

They came closer and closer tot the truth and are not afraid to admit it when they got it wrong, just like Paul did.

@mendalz So let e get this straight. The WT has falsley prohesied the end of the world 1914,1915,1921,1925,WW2, 1975,2000 and the latest 2034 will be the same. It's founders C.T Russell and the "Judge" promoted the occult and just like that they are in the clear? Deut 13, & 18 ; Jeremiah 28 reads like a WT resume. You claim to be Biblical and yet you make up rules when it suits you and that's ok? What hypocrisy! Levitical Law Chuck and the Judge would have been stoned.Liars, decievers.

some pagans used angels too. does that mean we permit pagan beliefs if we print a book with a picture of an angel in it?

you raise a good point. however, while we use the symbol of a watchtower on our literature, it is nothing more than a publishers logo. it is not a symbol of worship, or an icon. thename is scriptural, from verses describing christs people as a night watchman in his tower, keeping on the watch.

back in the early days of the WT history, it took some tme to clean out and refine their teaching that churches had obscured thru centries of paganism. so in some of the early books u might see a cross.

@anchorsdeep I just did that thing has nothing to do with us as a organization or me as a christian witness..and if what your saying is true..then you choose your path the road leading off into destruction..like the demon and satan they knew the Truth the facts and they saw Jehovah face and choose to rebellion against him..me I;m trying everyday to do what I'm supposed to..I fail half the time..but when the time comes and Jesus says I never new you..it'll hurt I'll be destroyed but I try'ed.

@anchorsdeep The watchtower doesn't have anything as a sign..or emblem or anything..they use to have the cross and crown, then later they got ride of it..back in the 30's..

@anchorsdeep naw..see I thought that also..being my grandfather was a real mason..past the 33 degree people think only exist...and from all I was taught by him..and later by him because I was raised around the truth from 3years old..I found this much out at 42..the mason did not write the bible rather the new world translation..and no one who's baptized as a christian witness is a mason or can be both a mason and a witness..though my last name is mason.hahhaa..but really..
