This is a warm up i used to always do in my Choir in high school while i lived in Canada. I recorded over my own voice, twice, to make it a canon becuase that's when the warm up sounds the best :)

Lyrics:

Rose Rose Rose Red
Will I ever see thee wed
I will marry at thy will sire
At thy will

  • i love doing this warm up(: its the shizz xD

  • @randomgothic1 yeah its a great warm up. Interesting how there are so many different versions. Its so beautiful when you have 5 or 6 different groups of people participating in the canon.

  • I LOVE THIS,

what are the words to it exactly?

  • I am glad :) I will put the lyrics on the side with the video information :)

  • Thank you so much! Your voice is really pretty, no wonder you were/are in a choir. ^^

  • thank you :) Not in choir anymore though :( They don't have a good program where I am now. But singing on my own is still fun! :)

  • Thanks for putting up the lyrics, I've been trying to figure them out for a while! This is really pretty, along with your voice. It's all sweet and innocent sounding, I love it! (:

  • nice voice

  • They sing this song on the last night at my Girl Scout Camp it always makes me cry

  • Rose rose rose red

Shall I ever see thee wed?

    I marry that thou wilt

    When thou art dead

I like this version the most... sounds as if a very jealous woman is going to kill another girl for her husband >:P

  • The lyrics I was taught were "Rose rose rose red, when shall I see thee wed? I shall marry at thy will sir, when thou art dead." I guess there are many variations.

  • i learned this today in drama class. it was so much funn!

  • i like this warm up

  • @taixtamminga yes yes it is :D my choir used to go up to 6 groups it sound really pretty :DD
