Used to carry James Grant's 'Anjunadeep:03' mix to a groove-fuelled melodic climax, Matt Lange's 'Rift' is yet another signal of the US-producer's unparalleled sonic skills.
Subtle, sonically warm and full of musical nuances, 'Rift' is built around a languorous, almost French house styled bassline with waves of slow-burning melodic textures easing into the mix.
A producer renowned for his class and individuality, Andrew Bayer then puts his own refined musical stamp on 'Rift'' with a gorgeously paced and deeply musical re-interpretation. Blending a slightly darker bass groove with some swirling but subtle synth work, Bayer then illuminates the original's melodies into an epic, starry-eyed breakdown.
Completing the package, is the addition of Kerry Leva's beautiful instrumental 'Piano Undo' interpretation - that captures the musical beauty of 'Rift's original melodies is perfect light.
