Watch in 720p HD! After I restored my Saiga 12 to its proper Russian configuration we ended up taking it out for a test run. It was a great time! These firearms enter the U.S. with no pistol grip and the fire control group oddly positioned at the rear of the receiver. Thanks to all the great people at The Saiga 12 Forum for helping me along the way in my build. This shotgun is in full compliance with 922r. Be on the lookout for a future video showcasing the lengths that were taken to complete this project. For anyone interested in buying one of these shotguns, I can't help you. I don't hold a FFL, and even if I did, I wouldn't be able to get you one. Your only choice is to buy a plain vanilla Saiga 12 and cut it up and reconstruct it with US parts in accordance with the law. There may be some small firms that convert Saiga 12 shotguns for you, but they will be very pricey. Head over to the forums at Saiga 12 and do some thorough research before you consider anything.

  • that "Ground Meat" is because you are not handling the weapon right... i have a 12 gauge pump and only ever had that happen the first time i shot my gun. yes i shot that quickly and that close together

  • @Wolfwood428 When you run well over 15 boxes of buck and slugs in one outting with a shotgun that's equipped with an AK-74 stock, I guarantee you that you're shoulder would look like that, whether you're handling the weapon correctly or not. The AK-74 stock has very little surface area and lasers the energy of the recoil into your shoulder unlike any proper shotgun stock I've ever worked with. We are proud of you that you know how to handle your weapons, Wolfwood428. Now carry on.

  • AWESOME! Good gun to have right now... before the ATF stops the import! Thanks for the invite. Subbed!

  • @MrJmfitch That rumor has spread like wildfire. There is no final official word from the BATFE in regards to stopping the importation of the S12. In January, ATF simply performed and published a public Study on the Importability of Certain Shotguns. That study is what sparked the fear of a so-called ban. Ultimately, anything can happen -- but as of right now the only thing I've seen is that prices are skyrocketing due to panic. I got mine for less than $500 about a year ago. Now they're $700+?

  • Nice saiga man. Gotta get the drum on that thing!! Where did u get that stock? Ive been lookin for a standard ak stock like that. Does it fold?

  • @Five00700 I've got an MD20 drum for it -- another video on my channel shows it. The stock is actually a K-Var brand, NATO length stock; so it's noticeably longer than a standard Warsaw length stock. One thing to take note of with the NATO stock is the fact that there is little surface area at the butt of the stock. The recoil doesn't spread evenly; but rather it lasers back into one small area on your shoulder. A GP-30 grenade launcher recoil pad could counter that. The stock does not fold.

  • It is an awesome weapon.

  • @TheSoundBarrier Interesting. I guess I am falling prey to rumor as well. Buddy just got one for $670 and I thought that was a good buy... guess not.

  • @TheSoundBarrier Alright thanks I definitely will.

  • @MrGunman11 The SGM Mags are tough as nails. I don't feel any flex in the magazine body. There's a video on YouTube somewhere of a guy running them over with a truck. I can't remember if they were S12 or S762 mags though. I remember him running up onto the magazine, stopping on the magazine, then rotating the wheels from left to right. They still worked. At the end I think they ended up actually shooting the mags though. They couldn't handle that. Good magazines. Try one!
