Danny Elfman a genius composer of amazing talent, oingo boingo great, only cause of Elfman, he scored the simpsons , Planet of the Apes remake and many other films, i hear when he scores a film he prefers to do it barefoot!

I get where you're comin from, but don't forget that commercial rap is just as bad as commerial rock and there's rap artists as talented as any other musicians, they just don't show up on the radio. Check out some old Brand New Heavies or Bran Van 3000. Might not be your slice o pie, but they've got talent!
