This is my MAME cabinet. I'm using an HP dc5750 PC running Win XP with a 1TB drive. I went with the X-Arcade TankStick for the controls and a 27" Wells Gardner CRT. The cabinet was custom made locally at PB&J Industries.

  • I'm using the demo version of Magic-Engine. The demo has a 5-minute time limit. :( Since I really don't play the TG-16 games much, it's not too big of a problem for me. Good luck!

  • Well, I'm not a dude, but the frontend is Maximus Arcade. Just Google it and you'll find it. :)

  • Thanks for the comments :). I've had a few problems where the Maximus Arcade stops responding to controls from the Tankstick after exiting a game, but it doesn't happen often. Simply rebooting the computer gets everything working again. All-in-all, I think the Tankstick is great! Good luck on your project.

  • @SkydivinGirl So are you a lady? You're pretty cool for a lady.

  • What emulator are you using for Turbo graphics 16? I've been trying to find a decent one.

  • DUUUUDE... what Frontend are you using?? It look nice and clean. I am running a blazing fast computer but the new 10th anniversary 3D arcade frontend is sooo slow it makes it too annoying to use.

  • Great looking cab, came out real nice!

I have the same problem with my xarcade dual joystick (sometimes after exiting a game back to MA the controls stop responding). Here's something that works for me... slide out your keyboard, and randomly tape the left, down, right arrows for a couple seconds, then try the joysticks again and see if they kick back on. This works for me 100% of the time, no idea why or what's going on but it works. Let me know if that works with tanksticks too.

  • @SkydivinGirl

Which NES Emulator you use to get the Tankstick buttons to configure to it? I can not set that up in any options and I downloaded 4 different NES Emulators.

  • That is really cool - Im starting to do the same thing - I have heard there are probs with the tankstick (which I already have) and Maximux Arcade (which I'm thinking about buying). Have you seen any probs?

thanks for the feedback - this is cool
