And the hall probably gave you hell for all the gear (forget what the load in must have been) and the bride and groom had no clue how much work it was to make their day happen. In a way - thats as it should be (you worry so they don't have to) but still You're not able to rock a room like that without a full sound crew.

great intro, i liked how you used "I Gotta Feeling" by The Black Eyed Peas, I've been using that as well and it seems to be going over real great. Great vid Stevie!

That looks like the toughest of rooms to manage sound. All the marble, high ceilings - WOW Can't throw too much or the stone will echo and Can't through enough because the ceilings are high. Have you ever played there before this? Also - how did you know when they were coming out since it looks like they were above you?

You're dead right! What's especially bad is their is seating outside of the main rotunda and that's really narrow and all marble. What we did was keep the volumes really low, rolled most of the bass off and had a speaker every 25 ft for full coverage. It worked somewhat well, but wil a room like that it's about the best you can do. :)
