@julibelle3 i agree with what you are saying; however the performance was exciting; creativity was off the chain, witch makes up for the lack of choreography... i would give this 9.8 out of 10

Well, This is fine for those who like Johnny Vazques Style, but its so far to be the best salsa dance, there are many dancers better than johnny (who I respect but i dont like his style), just let's be objective and not only put the best salsa dance something that only we like personally. Documentate a bit before giving an opinion
Want references??? The master Eddie Torres, Oliver Pineda, Gabriel Perez, Shaka Brown, Jason Molina, Felipe Polanco, Nelson Flores, Fernando Sosa, among many other..

where is salsa ?

@MarcianoMarcel Hey, I understand what you are saying, I just don't feel the same way. I do know something of salsa (although certainly no expert) and have seen lots of these videos, as well as live performances. It just didn't do anything for me. Even if I enjoyed lots of acrobatics in a dance performance, I didn't find anything special here compared to other competitive salsa performances. Don't get me wrong, they give a good performance. I just don't find the choreography impressive at all.

mucha acrobacia, poca salsa.

There is always a critic, and that's fine, but do YOU kno anything about Salsa? What did you expect from this performance? A NORMAL every day Salsa dance? Cause I can literally take you to a few hundred people and they all dance Salsa. The point of this performance is to stand out, just like every performance in a large crowd. This is Salsa in a more professional way. Dont mind the tricks, its SALSA. You want zero acrobatic moves go to a Hispanic party, you can see it there.

Naw u would kno, well at least Hispanic people would kno, INSTANTLY that it is Salsa. In parties u wont see people doing all that, but the moves are pretty similar, Salsa is a fast dance, there is different types of Salsas of course, but they all have a few things in common.
This is a professional performance of course you're gonna see something extra ordinary. Almost every Latino can dance Salsa, that's nothing, this in the video is pure talent. Its Salsa anyway you see it tho.

That was FANTASTIC!!! The artistry and choreography was explosive! One does not have to dance in a purely traditional manner to get their point across. That's what separates one couple from another. To see two equally skilled dancers going at it together is truly a thing of beauty.......
Certainly an entertaining performance, but can't help but feel that it lacks artistry in the choreography. Due to the stringing of tricks one after the other, it feels more like an acrobatic routine. Dance is an art form, which distinguishes it from acrobatics/trick performing.

I agree. It was mostly good
gymnastics. If you turned off the music, you wouldn't know what style of dance it was.
