  • Please help me..

I just discoveret the remote app, can I use it from my iPhone 3GS to my samsung UE40C6000 ? Its not a smart tv, but it is online ? Everything is very much appreciatet :)

  • @dingo702 A handful of people have messaged me with problems connecting. Most of the time the issue is the T.V. or they have an old router. Your t.v. at minimum, needs to have internet connection. via wireless or wired, then simply give it a try... it works with my androids, and my iphone 3g and iphone 4

  • If TV is hardwired & iPhone is WiFi, (same network subnet), will it still work?

  • @scottdevillers Yes. these still talk if device is wifi, and tv is hard wired. Some people have had issues with certain routers... Seems some OLD routers have problems. But for my dlink dir 655, and linksys e4200 they work great.

  • @BooyaGadget Can you use the iphone's keyboard to use the search function? That's something you never demonstrated, Did you just not show it or is it even possible?

  • @MarcInRealLife yes, in "certain" tv apps and similar you can use the keyboard to type which is really nice. I just tested it using the TV's YouTube app. I was able to type "booya gadget" using the iPhone keyboard. a nice touch.

  • @BooyaGadget I tried to bring up the qwerty keyboard while searching YouTube and couldn't do it in version 2.02. What version of the app were you using and what did you do to make qwerty appear?

  • 2:22 Oh, Netflix, what happened to you?? WHY?!!

  • It also works on my HTD-5500 home cinema set. :D

  • @pszemol Nice work on the router upgrade. I get the 'i can't connect' question a lot, so i'll ask folks of their router setup. I use dlink dir 655 as I have for several years now, it's pretty solid.
